Congratulations, soon you’ll be a MOM!Now that you are pregnant, is the perfect time to make healthy choices that include: exercise regularly and eating well, both main components of well-being.
Benefits of Pre-natal Exercise
- Decrease or prevent constipation, swelling of extremities, leg cramps, nausea, varicose veins, fatigue, insomnia, back pain, gestational diabetes, pelvic and rectal pressure, urinary incontinence, postpartum weight retention, anxiety, depression
- Increase or improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance, energy levels during pregnancy, posture, circulation, mood swings, sense of well-being, recovery time.
According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, exercise during pregnancy is as important as any other time of life.
The program includes cardiovascular exercises, resistance training, balance and stretching. Addresses muscular imbalances caused by postural changes during pregnancy that creates imbalances between muscle groups that can lead to discomfort, pain, and sometimes injury. The exercises are designed to counterbalance the natural tendency during pregnancy to become either “tight” or “weak” in specific areas.
Start day: MARCH 6th, 2017; twice a week:
Monday and Wednesday at 9 a.m.
Tuesday and Thursday at 5.30 p.m.
We work with small classes: max 6 (min 3), so we can provide full attention to each of you the entire time.
